Peter Rose, a first team quarterback and voted as the Associate Press Virginia Player of the Year, was charged along with six other of his school mates for undercover dealing of the drugs over a period of over 10 months inside the school. Upon investigation, it was found that 18 drug purchases were made by students that included seven operations within 1,000 feet of the school campus. The Virginia Tech University NCAA football recruit Peter Rose and his associate Jody Ramsey are currently being held at the Amherst County Jail and have been charged on two counts for distribution of drugs within school campus and two counts for distribution of marijuana.
