The head coach of the Clemson’s team Tommy Bowden has revealed that linebacker Cortney Vincent will not be competing in his team for the 2008 NCAA football season. The coach in a news release last Monday said that the player did not meet the team requirements at the spring practice session and hence he has decided to sack Vincent from the Clemson team. Vincent, a player with good reviews from all quarters, had also been suspended from the spring practice sessions as he did not comply with the team’s rules. The Clemson Tigers are of the point that Vincent will have to change to a Division II or Division III school if he fancies himself to play in the upcoming season.
