Top 25 Do Well

It was a big weekend for the Top 25 in the NCAA football world. It will be exciting for people to see these teams. Michigan lost to Michigan State in overtime, in case you’re wondering after I teased the game last week. USC took out California by 30-3, which gives California two big losses in a row. Their big dreams for Pac-10 are probably over unless they can make some big games again. USC is finally jumping up to the plate after a sluggish start. This is a fun time for this sport. Virginia Tech is ever well-ranked, despite having a loss. They almost were upset this Saturday against Duke, but they held out and got the 8 point winner. The excitement of this season is high because there have been some big upsets along the way. It’s still too early for the rankings to mean all that much because a lot of it is based on teams’ reputations, although we’re starting to get a sense of the teams themselves as well.
