The Arkansas State University fans will not see running back Preston Brown and defensive back Marlon Douglas in their team for the 2008 NCAA football season as both the players have been suspended from the team for violation of the team rules. Both these players have been reported to be involved in residential theft and burglary charges and are slated to appear before the court this month. Both these players were freshmen last year and the coach of the Arkansas State University team Steve Roberts said that this decision was taken by the management keeping in mind the team’s perspective as well as the university’s football program. Fans holding tickets for the 2008 season will not be able to see the football skills of Brown and Douglas.
