Florida state NCAA football wide receiver Percy Harvin will miss the rest of the spring practice sessions due to the heel injury and it seems that it might need a surgery on his heel to set it right. The Florida coach Urban Meyer has said that the team doctors arte taking advice from specialists on how to go about with this heel injury. The coach said that it is a special type of an injury which is not very commonly seen. The coach said that even if Harvin undergoes a surgery, he will be only back in playing mode for the fall practice in August.

The heel soreness was felt by Harvin during his high school days and it has aggravated as the years passed by and last season is when Harvin felt unbearable pain in his right heel. The team doctors, after reviewing the situation, have come to a conclusion that it is a bone related injury, and were initially treating it for tendinitis. Harvin has not played for Florida in every game of the last two seasons owing to various physical problems.
